Maven International is a language service provider offering high-quality, tech-savvy, and cost-effective language solutions. With over a decade of experience in managing translation and interpreting projects, we have partnered with top organizations worldwide, providing professional services in over 100 languages. We started in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and are currently expanding into other countries.
A few years ago, we started looking for a software solution that would reduce our paperwork, ease project management pressures through automation, and allow us to actively manage our vendor database. We wanted something that was specifically tailored to our needs as an LSP.
We discovered that there were only two systems that fit the bill, being tailored to LSPs and offering the comprehensive range of functionalities and features we needed: XTRF and Plunet. We opted for XTRF because we found it to be more client-oriented.
We opted for XTRF because we found it to be more client‑oriented.
This client-focused approach is demonstrated in the client-facing documents generated by the system. For example, clients are emailed quotations with links, allowing them to easily click ‘confirm’ or ‘decline’. Any applicable savings are shown directly within a quotation. All this is already helping us convert and convince clients.
Keeping staff happy
We’re not yet using XTRF to its full potential. But with our business growing and new offices being opened, we know we’ll be making use of even more functionalities. However, we’ve already seen benefits in how our internal operations are organized, and how the potential for human error has been significantly reduced.
What’s more, it saves our employees a lot of time. They manage everything through one simple portal. And the system takes away the more tedious aspects of their jobs, reducing repetitive and redundant tasks. This makes our team happier and ultimately reduces staff turnover.
