Product Designer

Location: Kraków / Remote

XTRF is looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Product Team. In this role, you will be involved in the product development life-cycle from end to end, but your primary focus will always be on the needs of the customers. You will work closely with product management and turn your insights into new product features and improvements.

What will you do?

  • Work with internal and external customers to understand detailed business requirements
  • Develop user flows, mockups, and prototypes around customer needs
  • Prepare appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development team
  • Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions
  • Oversee the product development process holistically from end to end
  • Contribute to product documentation development and maintenance

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience as a product designer, UX/UI designer or similar role in software product development (a must)
  • Fluency in modern design tools (knowledge of Figma is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (fluency in English is a must)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and experience with Agile methodologies (is a plus)

Test Automation Engineer

Location: Kraków

What will you do?

  • Creation of test scenarios based on gathered requirements
  • Ensure software compatibility with business and technical requirements
  • Creation and maintenance of the repository of automated tests
  • Configuration and maintenance of test environments
  • Effectively test reporting
  • Cooperation with product and development teams

Required Skills:

  • 1 year minimum of related working experience
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience in web application testing
  • Experience with test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium or Fitnesse)
  • Knowledge of Java programming language

Desirable Skills
(or the willingness to learn these):

  • Knowledge of HTML + CSS + JS
  • Knowledge of version control systems, e.g. Git, Subversion
  • Experience working with Jira
  • Experience working with Jenkins
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with REST API
  • Knowledge of basic layers of web-based systems architecture and understanding of the types of tests that must be covered on each layer
