add client budget codes

What is it?

With XTRF you can choose to add your clients’ budget codes to quotes and projects. Make your clients lives easier – allow them to easily see which budget each project relates to.

What are the benefits?

  • Make your clients’ administrative and financial record-keeping smoother
  • Add budget codes to quotes or projects
  • Use multiple codes for each client if you need
  • Enable clients to select the relevant budget code when they create a project in the Client Portal

How does it work?

Once you’ve added at least one budget code for a client, a Budget Code field will appear at the bottom of any quote or project you’re preparing for them. You can choose from those you’ve added for that client, and away you go. Once added, this field will also appear when that client creates their own projects in the Client Portal.

This will be really helpful for clients with large quantities of projects, who need to know which budget each one will be charged to.

How do I get started?

If you’re already an XTRF user, start by adding one budget code (or several) to a specific client’s Sales Data tab. This will make the Budget Code field appear in quotes and projects for that client. You can choose to make the Budget Code field mandatory if needed. Check out the Knowledge Base article for more information.
